Jim Capuano Founder and President
Jim believes in the power of unique, often under-utilized solutions that give people a greater understanding of their financial position.
The founder of The Integrity Life Brokerage thrives on delivering intricate case designs and eye-opening strategies that go beyond conventional advisory discussions. His passion is to help people gain confidence by shifting their focus to real-world outcomes rather than on-paper earnings, and he strongly advocates for tax diversification as much as for investment diversification.
Jim previously worked as a financial advisor with MetLife and as director of life brokerage at Professional Group Plans. He has been running a wholesale brokerage business since 2012 and since 2019 has operated The Integrity Life Brokerage, a brokerage general agency with a downline of around 50 brokers. Jim holds insurance licenses in life, annuity and health, and he has been an IRMAA Certified Planner since 2023.
He graduated magna cum laude from Nichols College in 2007, earning bachelor’s degrees in marketing and sports management.
Jim lives in Babylon, New York, with his wife, Karen, and their two sons, Calder and Kace. He is a sports enthusiast who loyally roots for the Mets, Jets, Islanders and Syracuse basketball, in spite of the occasional heartache. In the summers, Jim enjoys time in the pool and on his boat in the Great South Bay.
